Just the fact that I had so much fun and I was so engrossed by it that I actually did everything there is to do in this game from 2004 speaks for itself. Its the first time they nailed their vision. Borderline a horror game at times, its bare none my favorite of the OG games.

I dont know how we went from a really solid first game, to this unfunny garbage. As a defender of the Larry games, I really tryd multiple times to gives this a fair shoot but I ended up hating it more each time. Its all unfunny, cringy referencial humor paired with moon logic puzzles that suck every ounce of fun out of the game. Larry deserved better.

Only 4 stars because I feel they could have found a better way to explain the dodge and ammo mechanic, wich is really important to understand if you wanna have fun with the game. But overall its top tier quality Survival Horror game. Everytime Nemesis shows up its like someone stuck a shot of adrenaline in my arm, such a great Monster.

Im close to giving this 5 stars but I will conset thats its a kinda clunky action game, barely an rpg. The story is what makes this incredible and the writting consistantly goes further than most games even after the SNES. Shame on people who claim we didnt have good game storys in the early 90s. This one has some real gut punches.

A 100% improvment to the original. This is what definied the image of Crash to this day. And with the exception of one or two secrets that are certified bullshit, I have no complaints. Its a true classic.

Its just fine, some people need to calm down with their praise. The gameplay is ok, the story below average, the level design sometimes has its bright spots. Cool if you have fun but dont bother me with your takes that this is somehow to second coming of christ.

The One and only reason I give this 5 Stars is because this abomination of a remake the comes with a file of the original. Take that file and use it to make the Ultimate talki version of the game, wich is a mod made by fans. Than you have the best version of a timeless classic with great puzzles and writting.

Clunky to get going and very noticable running on a tight Budget. Theres a million confusing rpg stats and I admit that I run on alot of nostalgia with this but I think this has some real qualitys once you get past the dry as shit tutorial area.

Unpopular opinion: I find the gameplay the worst of the trilogy. The changed BT system makes you pretty unstoppable and it becomes fairly dull cause there is no challenge at all aside from the occasional physics object that instant kills you. Lucky for Remedy that the story is one of the best of all time and it delievers such a fantastic conclusion that Max Payne 2 could honestly be the definitiv end. If only they could it left that way.

I can see the effort here to make something great but its a few decent missions buried under a pile of trash with broken AI. The string of Japan mission are some of the worst levels in any game. I love the soundtrack and atmosphere so Ill undoubly install it again in a desperate attempt to finish it but this truly is a diamant in the rough.

Thank god this a 100% worth while remake now, even comes with Voice Acting in the old graphics out of the box. That said im not the biggest fan of Monkey 2. Its writting is clever but lacks so much focus and structure. Some of the later puzzles I also find to be a bit too extra. Its like they wanted to design a game with the most clever and elaborate puzzles, but had no consideration for anybody that isnt programming adventure games for a living. I consider the parts where you find the 3 map pieces some of the most unfun hours in any adventure game.

Was just a mediocre game until our coop run endet with broken cutscenes, crashes and my friends save file that randomly got corrupted.

A fantastic parody of Survival Horror Games. All the trops are here with Item Managment, weird puzzles and annyoing enemie grabs. The fact that everyone speaks with Banjo-Kazooie noises makes this even better than it already is.

Its technically better than the original but I think the last few combat rooms are such a uninspired drag. Still a classic high above every other horror game.

Great atmosphere but beware that the last third of the game will test your patience with horrible combat, stealth and puzzles. That said: the ending to this one is pure chefs kiss. Straight out of the best horror story.
