ending made me cry for like two hours go play it

Kingdom Hearts 2 is a very important game to me. I played it at one of my lowest times of my life, and it helped me get through it. When things were bad I'd just pop it in and relax with it. I know this series has an infamous repetition, but I really just can't get enough of the 2nd game. You have an insanely fun combat system to work with, Yoko Shimomura's best work, a very engaging story filled with wonderful worlds and characters, and an action packed post game with some of the most fun super bosses I've ever fought in a game before. I've probably beaten this game over a hundered times before and that number is just gonna keep on growing as the years pass. Thank you Kingdom Hearts for the impact you have made in my life and I won't ever let you leave my heart...

(Played the PS2 version this time.)

This is a solid good game. Nothing better, nothing worse, just good.
I find the core gameplay, and some of the minigames (namely most of the turret ones and the treasure one) I find enjoyable, and I think the story and stuff related to it and the looks are great (also the soundtrack is good)

BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT then there's the stuff that's stinky, namely the lives system, which is just dumb tbh, some of the enemies (specially the trees), and the other like 75% of the minigames which put this game down to being just good.

Oh right I think the bosses in general are fine enough. Mz. Ruby and Clockwerk I think are fun, Raleigh and Panda King are piss easy but they're not bad still, and Muggshot kinda sucks

(Played via Director's Cut v1; Chris; Gave up at the revisit to the mansion (screw Hunters in this game seriously))
Just play REmake or Deadly Silence. There's no reason to play any version of OG RE1 unless you're curious like me or something.
Not to say that this is bad (though I don't think it's great either), love the atmosphere and music and those cool little moments, like when you walk down a hallway, only to get jumpscared by the Cerberus dogs jumping through the windows as the panic music plays, or the CGI cutscenes of when you try to open the front door and when Hunters are introduced, but, again, there's no reason to play this over REmake or Deadly Silence. Both do what this game does better, plus the things you might miss out on you can find online.

Also don't be dumb like me and play Chris (at least on your first go).

why did the ending make me cry mega man isn’t supposed to have good story like this wtf
