Cute little platformer game! Feels like they took a lot of good inspiration from DoubleFine games.

Humor is really funny, there’s a lot of good pauses and beats that just add a lot to a conversation. But overall very cute!

What if the Nintendo approach to level-design was implemented for an absurdist physics-based egg cooking game.

A stunning game, both visually and narratively. The way this game lets you make your own decisions in the narrative have some real heft to it.

I have not seen so much confidence in an art style since Persona 5. It's such a bright and lush world that feels lonely and horrifying for Claudio, Andrea, and Mida. That topped with the soundtrack? chef's kiss

The things this game says about the impact of the pandemic and how we should move forward are incredible. The writers of this game have such a raw and angry voice that is effective. I lost a bit of my 20s to the pandemic and resonate with trying to pick up the pieces after the fact.

I think the game hits its hardest moment if you do an optional part of the game. So I would suggest people try and get 8 holy cards.

I'll probably revisit this game later to see what Andrea's ascension looked like.

Honestly, maybe going from Seasons straight into this wasn't the best idea. I think I keep bumping up against the two item restraint here, and I don't know why that is really the point of friction for me.

I'll probably finish it sometime in the future, but for now I need to take a break from it.

Roguelike/lite of the Month
- I haven't played any Dynasty Warriors style games before so this was my first one. Maybe not my cup of tea, but I appreciate what it's going for!
- I love the presentation of the game! Mythological Japan! The pixel style! All of this rules.
- Mechanics are really cool! I like the idea of keeping the abilities you collected between runs. Makes things interesting in adding to builds and being able to beef up your moves over time.
- I do think the controls are a bit clunky though. The button layout could have been tweaked to make things a bit better to handle on a controller.

Goodness I love any of these games that take inspiration from Papers Please.

Really interesting ideas here! Loved trying to figure out where the asteroids were that I needed to blast. I think some of the events have really interesting challenges, and would love to have seen more of those challenges.

Quirky lil game! Has a lot of charm, a fun story, and an interesting set of game mechanics. Def has some major Dark Souls “screw you” energy in some areas that is really funny.

Got a little obtuse in the puzzles at times but a neat lil experience.
