Today I played a new file to try to apply what I've learned so far about Pikmin 2'ing to the first five days of the game. Got tripped up on efficiency in Perplexing Pool trying to meet the Yellows, since the mission requires reds, whites, and purples in a squad and then frantically trying to grow yellows. Ultimately ended with a semi-disastrous exploration of the Bulblax Cave, losing Pikmin to bombs and those damn ladybug Bulbaxes. I shall return, Pikmin 2. I shall return with a vengeance.

Awakening Wood. I went into that first cave where the final level is some kind of Slug-Bulborb. It rolled over 85 of my Pikmin - ALL my red Pikmin. The most horrifying part was that the email from the Bossman didn't even mention their sacrifice. Nauseated, I started the day over and didn't even attempt to fight the damn thing.
