Genesis Aladdin fans are huffing some serious copium. Make no mistake, this is the superior Aladdin platformer. This game proves Mikami has always been the GOAT.

This game gets me hyped for golf of all things.

Amazing how much they got right with the first in the series. This game would be outdone in basically every way by DKC2 but this game is still extremely important for laying the groundwork. If you enjoy platformers at all this is a must-play.

SNK's best NeoGeo era fighter.

The worst version of SF2.

Best soundtrack in the series.

A very mixed bag experience of a fighter. This game is "broken" but not in a very fun or compelling way. This game suffers from the common problem in modern fighting game design where character offensive power is extremely high but defensive options and movement are limited and underwhelming. This leads to you getting stomped on or you doing the stomping on your opponent but nothing else in between.

On the flip side this might be my favorite roster of any fighting game. Every characters kit is extremely unique and different from the rest of the cast. I don't think I've had as much fun in a fighter as I had doing wall loops with Crusader and ~70% combos with Grappler.

At the time of writing this we are still waiting for a game system overhaul patch and the first DLC character, Spectre. I will update my review when I've played that patch.

Very underrated and solid fighter. The soundtrack is amazing.

Weakest entry of the trilogy. The level design is good but doesn't really do anything memorable like in DKC1 and 2. The level design can be downright horrible at times too (Poisonous Pipeline might be one of the worst levels in the whole series). Aesthetic-wise this game tries to split the difference between the more reserved feel of DKC1 and the zaniness of DKC2 and suffers for it. Despite all that on its own this game is a fantastic platformer and still one of the best of all time.

This is basically as close as you can get to a perfect platformer. Amazing level design, music, and atmosphere.

Potentially one of the most overrated FPS games of all time. This game aged like milk and wasn't even a great FPS for its time. This is from the same era that brought us Quake and Blood. GoldenEye just cannot compete with the movement, level design, and weapon arsenal of those games.

This isn't even the best 007 game. Nightfire clears this easy.
