Hoping to keep expanding this one now that directors have seemingly discovered the secret sauce to making game-adapted films turn out alright. Thanks, Sonic. I've only played the Gamecube versions of SA1+2, and haven't seen Reign Over Me despite including SOTC here, but hopefully I'm not too much of a hack fraud.

Although I've played about twice as many games as I've seen films, I'd say that for most of my life I've been about as much into film as games. Getting into foreign language films when I was little almost felt like discovering a new world, but I got sidetracked away from film for a few years before getting back into it over the past few months. It's been nice catching up with modern releases, even if (as with games) I tend to swerve past most big western blockbusters. Scorsese is right about everything btw.
