This game has always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't have any excuses; the game's vibe is just unmatched for me personally. It's pretty replayable too with tons of shortcuts to find.

Just go in with an open mind.

Honestly, this game has really interesting mechanics and probably the best soundtrack in the racing games, and also one of the best Sonic soundtracks.

If only they didn't abandon the game and instead supported it with fixes and more content, it could have surpassed Transformed.

As much as I love Adventure 1, this game just "feels" special, like they knew it was the end of an era (quite literally)

It has the best vocal tracks, an actually good story and very memorable scenes. I could go on and on about how special this game is, but I think it's better you play it yourself.

a lot of style but no substance

Pretty fine classic sonic game. Sometimes I wished Mania was half as original at this one. Music could be better, and the multiplayer desperately needs fixes, but honestly I liked most of the levels in the game. It looks like there's still room for more Classic Sonic games and I'm all down for it.
