Just got "The Sun" ending, the one that I have found to be the most satisfying, for what I now think is my "definitive" V. That's one of the highest pieces of praise I can give to any RPG, where it makes me give a fuck about building my character cohesively not just with gear and stats and gameplay but with CHARACTER. I really ended up giving a fuck about how my V's story came together. Streetkid origin + every gig and quest + king of cups ending for the dlc plus The Sun ending for the fuckin win.
Holy shit what a turn around. Made a new character to ring in the 2.0 patch and godDAMN am I in this time. Did every gig, every available sidequest, scraped the dlc area, every damn thing. Probably my favorite RPG world and setting in recent years
2.0 definitely makes it into more of an actual RPG where you actually have to ponder your level up choices a bit. The world is still great and the dozens of little tweaks and improvements have really added up to make this a hell of an open world RPG.
