First off, huge shoutout to this game for actually utilizing haptic feedback and adaptive triggers even though it's a multiplatform games. So many games understandably don't bother but it makes the experience sooo much better for people with a DualSense. Secondly, even huger shoutout for fully supporting the DualSense in the PC port in a world where most games don't even bother putting non-xbox button prompts in their PC ports.

The game is really good. The atmosphere is horrifying and excellent, the gameplay is challenging and satisfying.

Unfortunately it was just a game I enjoyed a normal amount while a lot of my friends are totally obsessed with it so now I feel slightly disappointed by it even though I had an awsome time with it. This feeling even extends to this review. I feel like I should write some grande thousand-word essay about my feelings when really they just boil down to "it's a good game, play it, use a DualSense if possible".
