Can you Double Jump in this Game? No.

Heading out is a Rogue-like road trip across America, one man in a car. The thing is, you are being chased by your "fear" essentially working like rules from It Follows. Your goal is to get to some point in America to race "The Legendary Blue Racer". The main gameplay of this game is seeing your little dot drive across the map going from city to city, balancing how fast you go (will get you there faster/get further away from fear, but make up your wanted level/make higher fuel costs). There are little events at every city and sometimes on the roads. These are what I like about the game, I like the little events where I get to make a singular decision and then its done. There are also racing events where you actually drive the car and they are fine. I like the events stuff but everything else is pretty eh to me.

Also it takes a lot for me to not want to listen to dialogue in a game, but this game has radio talk shows that feel aggressively trying to be "hip" with current events and its very groan worthy, especially the adult woman trying to voice a teenager.

they chibi robo-fied robbit what the hell?? very cute though in that it’s mostly just about robbit helping out random v cute npcs rather than just finding the goal as in the other games. bit too much focus on precision platforming which I don’t rlly fuck w but I think that’s fine bc each level is so cute and truly beautiful in regards to layout + skyboxes,, amount of care poured into each one of these games is kind of insane and it’s a shame they never made one for the ps2 as it def wouldve been one of the best games on the console.

also yeah it sucks that this isn’t translated bc it does have way more dialogue and flavor text in comp to prev entries but also it’s a platformer lol just play it and stop letting language barriers keep u from experiencing cool works of art idk I like a bunch of russian emo that ive found but idfk what they’re saying lol u can still infer a lot of emotion and intent without knowing the language !!!
