My favorite game genre tend to be RPG’s, Rogue’s and story driven games, but I appreciate and experiment with multiple others as you'd get to see in my profile. As for it being the first attempt of bringing Final Fantasy to real time action combat, 15 is a mixed bag of both good and bad traits. The story is a little lackluster mostly due to lack of pacing and presentation but what was developed was good at least. The combat is a little generic but fun to play around with specifically with noctis' warp. The music is outstanding as always with every Final Fantasy game they continue to compose masterpieces. The open world is really beautiful and the locals you visit are really impressive though it just felt a tad bit empty. The best part about this game is easily the relationship between the 4 main characters and what they go through, it feels like going on a road trip with your buds, a sad one at that. It might not be for everyone but it sure has its enjoyable moments. Walk Tall.

NEO The World Ends With You feels really nostalgic and has an awesome 2000s vibe to it that has been missing in games for a while, the punk rock aesthetic is always a treat to go back to. The music in this game is incredible and was the stand out for me during my run, it was always hype to listen to a new track pop up. The gameplay is a little button mashy but once you get the hang of it stringing combos together with all the different pins is a blast. The story and characters are a little tropey but enjoyable enough to keep you invested in whats happening. This equation is definitely one worth solving.

Dragon Quest XI served as my introduction to the Dragon Quest series and it left me pleasantly surprised by the charm of the classic old style retro JRPG themes and tropes while not exhausting them completely to the point where its obnoxious. This game has one of the most refined turn based combat systems I've played in a JRPG and it was fun to see all the silly special move animations. The story while being a bit basic was still a stand out and had me hooked from start to finish, most of the being because of the characters such as Sylvando which keep you entertained at every turn. The music is a little repetitive at times but it grows on you as you play. The world is awesome and the classic Dragon Quest enemy designs are fantastic, would recommend to anyone new or old interested in playing! Also Jade is best girl..
