December 2023 I started replaying The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on death march difficulty. After more than 6 months of playing this game, I have finally completed the game with a total playtime of more than 145 hours, which includes the base game and the 2 major expansions, heart and stone and blood and wine. Even though the game has been out for over 9 years, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is such an incredible experience from start to finish. The game has so much content that it will keep you entertained for such a long time, and the game's greatest achievement, in my opinion, is how all of the game's content comes together to create a sense of scope and magic that very few open-world games manage to achieve. Visually, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is stunning to look at, with beautiful locations to explore, whether that's exploring the bustling streets of Novigrad or riding your horse across the bright and colorful European countryside of Toussaint. The music in this game is just outstanding, with so many memorable tracks to listen to while exploring the game. The Story is excellent with plenty of twist and turns during the main story even the quality of the side content is outstanding. The characters that you meet along the way during the game are fantastic the game makes you want to spend time and get too know them better.
The only negative thing is probably the combat is pretty basic even though there is plenty of variety in terms of different enemies you encounter during the course of the game. The controls are occasionally clunky especially heading into the games menu and while riding your horse across the open world.

For the moment this review will focus on the campaign side of things. Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Campaign is very disappointing and feels rushed in my opinion considering that the previous two games in the new modern warfare series had pretty solid campaign's which both set up pretty solid storylines. Not only is modern warfare 3 campaign the shortest in the recent trilogy its the shortest campaign in the entire series to date. In general Modern Warfare 3 story is quite forgettable with lazy writing and a ending that ends in a anticlimactic matter which was very disappointing.
The open combat missions overall weren't that great with each of the 6 open combat mission's reused a lot of Warzone assets instead of recreating new environment's for the player to explore.
On a positive note The more traditional linear levels are quite fun too play its just a pity their weren't enough of them in the campaign. Visually Modern warfare 3 is a delight on the eyes. Character models and environments are rendered with such detail all while running at a very smooth 60fps. In general the Audio design in Modern Warfare 3 is very good especially with a good pair of headsets which offers a more immersive experience. The gunplay is Modern warfare 3 is as expected is really good. The controls feel tight and responsive which also makes good use of the PlayStation 5 dualsense controller haptic feedback.

The Last of us part 2 is probably the most controversial game I have seen people talk about in a very long time. You either love it or hate it. I sit in the camp of loving this game so much. The size of this game is absolutely huge compared to the last of us part 1. Naughty dog went all in on this game and it certainly delivers on every aspect of the game in my opinion.
I love the story and characters in this game. The Story is incredibly powerful which deals with complex themes and emotions such as obsession, hatred and the cycle of violence.
The voice acting and performances from the actors is top tier. Ashley Johnson and Laura Bailey deserved huge praise for their roles as Ellie and Abby respectively.
Visually this Game is absolutely incredible. The character model's and environments are stunning to look at. Naughty dog has always been the gold standard in games when it comes to graphics and this is their best looking game yet.
On the gameplay side of things the game is incredibly fun game to play with plenty of different ways to approach Combat Scenarios that's either Taking out enemies quietly or taking on enemies in a Aggressive approach. Exploring the world of the last of us part 2 is both wonderful and very rewarding .The collectibles are worth finding because not only does it provide more context for the main story but also adds a ton of interesting information on what happens inside the city of Seattle. The audio design in the last of us part 2 is phenomenal especially if you use gaming headset which helps you immerse yourself more in the experience.
Total playtime 45 hours
