this game was elite man, honestly this was my first 3d platformer on a playstation system since... maybe crash in the mid 2000s so this was a throwback for me for sure.

i really liked the way the game fully utilizes the dualsense, it really made me appreciate the controller even more than i already do - i didn't know it was capable of half the things this game made it do.

the levels are crafted fine and they do what they have to do, but there's nothing crazy there in terms of platforming as astro himself, he has about as much moves as mario does in the galaxy games although this game clears both mario galaxy games. the really cool shit is every 2nd and 4th level of each respective world, the little monkey guy was awesome to play as and felt like something i'd get out of littlebigplanet 2 or something.

music was funky as SHIT and some tracks will be going on the playlist.

i would've definitely given this game 4/5 stars had the platforming had a little more to it, but for what it is, it's very good. shit really had me looking back on the PS1 and PS3 fondly. :')
