I was about to play this in PS4 but also have the DS version. Without spoiling it, is there a reason as to why to start on DS?

@devilxhunter it has to do with the dual screen usage and it being important to the plot of 999. I played the ps4 version first and still loved it but the experience is definitely pretty different between versions from what I've seen

@DevilXHunter the game was made with the Ds in mind in a way that doesn't work as well in the later ports, and its basically impossible to explain why without massive spoilers so I'm afraid you'll have to take our word for it

this all reminds me that convincing someone stubborn to play the ds version is the most frustrating uphill battle in the world

I played this on PS4 first and it's one of my favourite games of all time.
DS may be preferable (I know the differences) but I think they are extremely blown out of proportion and subjective.
