For a game that is highly overshadowed by it sequel, Danganronpa another 1 (Dra) is a highly competent project that i feel deserves it flowers in terms of recognition and credit. All of the class trial are enjoyable in there own ways and the character writing for this cast rivals and even surpasses characters form the mainline games(Rei,kinjo and satsuki being personal standouts for me).
The biggest flaw i have is how certain plot points were handled near the end of the game which while fine in a vacuum,do feel a bit wonky when sdra2 come around. But aside from that i do believe that is game is a fantastic fan project and clear labor of love. If you like the main line series then this (And its sequel) are fully worth playing
also it free so there is zero downsides to trying it

In an alternative universe where i didn't find this series in 2015 and followed this games development/release ever step of the way during 2017, along with watching playthroughs of the game ten times over by different lets players as well finding the overall story(Including the ending) fantastic, it might not have be my favorite game ever. But we don't live in that universe.
A Solid vibe but having to replay the game 5 times for all of the endings felt tedious which felt noticeable due to how short the game is but eh
Personally found the game to be an massive improvement over the first, but it suffers massively near the end with the story especially when all of the major twist start getting revealed. But on the other hand its the only game where you can play as Mizuki Okiura So its not all terrible
