After a first failed attempt at getting engrossed by the game and having to drop it at around the 12 hour mark I gave it another chance and absolutely enjoyed the heck out of it. I have to say it's a slow burner but the worldbuilding is really well done, I loved reading the glossary and the characters are likeable and interesting (a bit annoyed regarding the role of the twins), even the gameplay which I was expecting it to be a merely addition was genuinely good although a bit easy.

Can't wait to start Mask of Truth now.

Best mainline SMT game. Amazing and challenging battle system, soundtrack that's in a league of its own, interesting worldbuilding, good replayability... only thing I didn't like was the overworld map.

One of my greatest gaming experiences, although it might be a bit unfair to give this expansion such a high rating because it benefits greatly from all the previous adventures we've experienced. Nevertheless, it manages to deliver an incredible journey with high stakes and numerous emotional moments. Contrary to what one might have feared, Endwalker not only enhances Shadowbringers but also pays proper respect to previous characters.

Endwalker isn't flawless, but it serves as the culmination of an incredible journey, and this rating attempts to encompass the entirety of FFXIV.

It's literally one of the greatest soundtracks and battle systems in any JRPG. It's just a shame that it falls short in terms of story and characters.
