This is one of the games my grandma just bought me randomly as a kid. I kept thinking about it recently because I remember it being cool, and the bad guy is a "wendigo" and I love those things. Well uhh, the game sucks. It is the most obviously padded game I have ever played. The combat definitely takes too long in any encounter. And you have to collect the magical MacGuffin THREE TIMES.

The main adventure of the game is the Elder of the tribe telling you his story to beat the Wendigo. Eventually you get to the boss fight with him, and then at the halfway point, the game stops, does a loading screen, and spits you out back in present time. The Elder tells you to go collect 3 totems so he will finish the story. Then he goes "no actually go collect the macguffin". Then after you do that you have to fight the Wendigo again for some fuckin reason.

There is also a small section of this game where you have to ice pick climb a wall. It is extremely frustrating to control and also just designed bad because there is barely enough room to climb without falling all the way down.

It does have some neat little animations with certain enemies if you kill them the right way. But thats the only neat thing. This game just sucks.
