This game is an assault on my my senses. Ever since I saw the first trailer I thought this game was fake, even when playing it with my own hands, I felt like all my bodily senses were somehow transported to a different dimension. This surely could not be a game that is real, it seems real, and looks good, but it cannot have been made by people of this reality.

(I shouldn't really even rate this game, but my half stars are reserved to fake video games, and this takes the crown.)

It has a great style and world I think(???), but it was like 40 minutes of cutscenes before some semblance of actual gameplay, then it had endless junk looting like fallout 4 and I completely tapped out. Also characters wouldn't fucking stop TALKING.

YEAH EXACTLY! Like just because I can hold F and it just does it doesn't mean that I don't have to still walk up to each container and stand there. Its boring and tedious. These games really need a loot all system like DnD/Diablo games sometimes have.

Barrelling into an office space with the force of a tornado, tearing the cabinets off their hinges and slamming drawers wide open - scooping up every resource in sight like a combine harvester. It was pretty fun, but then I immediately realised I'll be doing that over & over again, with these same fucking containers, for the rest of the playthru. They don't even have the good graces to give you an FOV setting beyond Critically Claustrophobic.

But is the gameplay fun enough and the story bearable enough that I'd like it if I'm fine with spending time on mindless shlocky shooters
