I can't really recommend this game without a guide, and honestly the "best" guide out there leaves out some information that can be essential, as I've sunk 12 hours into this 6 hour game. So much backtracking, so much bullshit.

Honestly just follow a guide for this game or skip to the 2nd Metal Gear. You're not really gonna be needing to play this unless you really want to have the "full" Metal Gear experience.
