Charming, but insanely dated and frustrating. Slippery movement on thin platforms makes the game artifically padded due to the need to replay sections. Timing puzzles that have 0 margin of error and lack lustre combat make for a pretty but, ultimately, skippable experience.

Ruined the established formula. Focused on being nothing more than mobile garbage when the series is seriously so charming and fun. PopCap has ruined their reputation now.

1/10

Platinum trophy earned in 40 hours.

The Legend of Dragoon is an all time classic. When I saw it was being added to the classic catalogue with trophy support, I knew I needed to pick it up. See, I grew up with this game and probably put hundreds of hours in as a kid. Not only is LoD one of my favorite ps1-era JRPGs, it's one of my favorite JRPGs of all time.

It's hard to explain what exactly makes this such a solid game - the visuals offer a unique blend of models on pre-rendered backgrounds, akin to Chrono Cross, the battle system is an interesting blend of turn based combat and... a rhythm game, and the music slaps. The plot, too, is noteworthy. It's memorable and has lors of creative twists, but the mediocre localization holds it down marginally. This one gripe aside, Legend of Dragoon is a game I think everybody should experience at least once. The platinum's also really easy to earn.

90/100.

Let's see if I can properly articulate what this game is.

This game is good. Really good. What's the best game you've played? Nope, it's Breath of the Wild now. The seemingly endless number of things to do is staggering. Seriously, I've played this game for well over 200 hours, and the map tells me I've only discovered 35% of everything.

Gradually learning of your failure 100 years ago, and meeting this cast of wacky, cool and attractive characters (looking at you, Sidon) makes everything little thing you do seem like you've uncovered something grand.

I don't think what I felt when I first fought a Lynel has ever been captured in another videogame.

''Cosmic Star Heroine is a fresh sci-fi JRPG with an especially good battle system that kept me engaged throughout the entire game, constantly desiring to try out different team builds from the wide array of characters. All of them feel very different from each other with their own abilities and specialities that often compliment other characters as well. Not only that, but the battle system tests your strategic mind as well due to monsters getting stronger the longer a battle goes on, and your main form of attack going on cooldown after a single use. If this sounds overwhelming, you have nothing to fear as the title is very approachable with difficulties that can be changed at any point, grinding being obsolete and other quality-of-life improvements. But the amount of characters are also the game’s biggest flaw, as they usually have a single characteristic that does not get developed over the course of the game. Most characters aren’t even directly important to the plot and just happened to join the party by chance, which results in them having a lot less screentime as they usually don’t have a relation to any of the other characters in the party. The story is not really noteworthy either but granted, most of the issues surrounding the characters and the story are softened by the overall charm the game has, with Zeboyd Games’ trademark humour shining in the writing as always.''

What an outstanding conclusion to the series. Absolutely amazing and has the strongest characters in the entire series. PLEASE play it it's so good.

It further cements my belief that season 3 is a filler though because there are absolutely NO callbacks to it while there are constant callbacks to season 1 & 2.

Took me two sittings, a year apart, but picked it up again with its imminent departure from PS Plus. Glad I did, what wasn't clicking first time finally fell into place and revealed an atmospheric story about stories, with interesting twists and layers.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is peak Star Wars. Not only does it approve upon EVERYTHING from the first game it also expands and connects to cannon lore that other movies/TV/games have yet to touch on while doing good fanservice for its current time period.

Knights of the Old Republic for me is still the greatest Star Wars game but Jedi Survivor is a close second. Maybe its recency bias but I genuinely love this game.

I did experience minor performance issues on PC but the quality of the story, gameplay, progression, and characters make up for it. Can't wait for a new game+ whenever I have the time.

Even though the original version of the game is my favorite game of all time, this is so much more flawed. All of the original content is still there (which is why I'm not giving this a low score) but the new content feels tacked on, especially the open world which is just boring at some times. I will say that the some of the new content added some challenge that was needed in the original, but all they did was add extra robots in places where they weren't. Revolution is also so much more buggier than the original. Nonetheless, I still really like this game, it's still Rayman 2.

Being someone who adores Rayman Origins and Legends as well as 3D platformers, I thought I would love Rayman Revolution: "A 3D Rayman platformer? I have to like this!"

But I really didn't. Sure, the worlds are fun, colourful and creative, just as you'd expect. And the game looks phenomenal for its time. The controls are great when you play the normal sections and the game has a dreamlike but also dark/serious (compared to other Rayman games) atmosphere.

However, the vehicle and sliding sections are horrible and awkward to control. It's like the game is actively fighting against me. And the leveldesign is a bit boring in my opinion.

Idk aybe Origins's and Legends's insane senses of flow spoiled me to the point that I have way too high expectations for a Rayman game in the regard of how Rayman feels to control.

Completed with 100% of achievements unlocked (1,000G). Fractured Minds is a short experience based around exploring mental health themes, with gameplay based around simple first-person puzzle-solving. As a game there's not all that much to it, but it's quite thought-provoking, with a clear intention of raising awareness of mental health issues - and with that brief, is quite successful in achieving its aims.

The writers of Mass Effect don't get enough credit for carrying this entire game on their backs. Bluntly put, Mass Effect isn't very fun to play, and has aged like milk, but the story and characters are so incredibly strong that it's still worth playing today.

I'm just not a big fan of Fable II, I feel like it tries to do too much and does none of it very well. The story is all over the place, the characters are one dimensional, and the ending left such a bad taste in my mouth I never opened the game again.

Lacks much variety for its genre, but that allows Scourgebringer to craft the most challenging yet fair roguelike experience with an insane killer "DOOM" soundtrack to match the intensity of the gameplay and some of the tightest 2D gameplay.

Its precise movement is often compared to Celeste, but an equally strong example is to Furi with how each basic move affords so many different options. Your firearm reloads by dealing melee damage to enemies, so you have to mix it into your melee combos strategically. Your dash has no i-frames but it resets on enemy kill, and drags enemies along with you. Your heavy attack isn't just an aoe, but it stuns almost all enemies, so you can combo it with the dash to corral enemies together. And yet by being risky and chasing enemies, you increase your survivability since hitting enemies resets your double jump too. Like Furi, all of these simple mechanics feed into encouraging you to play aggressively yet intelligently.

And you feel like a Gamer God

This is a 20 hours amazing movie with some of the best banter, storybeats and set pieces i've seen in a while.

The gameplay is kept fresh by giving you more tools to play with all the way up until the end, keeping things fresh.

The combat can be a bit clunky, but it is very fun.
