Solid game overall, it has a certain charm and aesthetic that I think is missing in a lot of games nowadays as this game makes you feel like you've just done 10 pounds of crack. It's pretty short and does get repetitive and 100% completion is a pain in the ass and for the sake of your sanity I don't recommend doing it. All in all though it's a very solid game and it's sad the rest of the series probably won't get ported as someone thought it would be a good idea to release this game on the same day as Smash Ultimate.

Straight up, it's an amazing game and definitely the best game in the Pikmin series. It's fun, it's got charm and the environments are incredible. While the game isn't that long there's tons of side content and replay value to keep you hooked for ages. My one major complaint with this game is that it is just way too easy compared to the other entries that came before it. Still though an absolutely amazing game.

Honestly it's pretty overhated, yeah it's not amazing by any means but it wasn't meant to be and is still pretty charming. Future Connected had two goals it set out to achieve:
1. Wrap up Melia's character and tie up the loose ends of the High Entia plotline.
2. Act as an interactive teaser for Xenoblade 3.
Judging by what we've seen I can conclusively say that FC completed both of these goals. Melia and Tyrea's character arcs were the strongest parts of FC and there are Xenoblade 3 details and secrets hidden all around FC. There are some underwhelming parts like Gael'gar being a pointless character that didn't need to exist and the combat being the worst in the series as it removed everything that made Xenoblade 1's combat enjoyable (though it's not terrible it's just kinda meh). Overall Future Connected is a charming experience that does a good job at tying up the loose ends of one of my all time favourite games and also teases what could be a fantastic future for this franchise.
