Beating 99.999999% of this without a guide is one of the greatest gaming achievements I've ever accomplished

Lob shots are absolutely broken in this game

A neat little puzzle game with an interesting concept. Only real issues with it is that the 3 bonus worlds are pretty frustrating at points and that the side content feels half assed.

Only two big positives are that 50cc was pretty fun and it paved the way for one of the Nintendo's best series

Kinda funny how this game peaks in the second level

If they ever make another Team Fortress game would it be called TF3 or TF2 2?

I barely know how to navigate Bergen Village

The Mario Kart track that spawned from this game was better than the entire game

Chain attacks are absolutely busted

They finally made a good Sonic game

Got about halfway and then the levels literally just became enemy spam

Rock, Paper, Scissors but it's a live service game

Played this single player when it is ideally a multiplayer experience, gameplay loop gets boring quick and star requirements to unlock levels basically require you to play perfectly and was the main factor that made me drop the game, early levels are fun but annoying game mechanics get introduced as you progress. I'll probably pick this game up again at some point but not for the time being.

Despite how simple it is, it has actually held up insanely well, the main issues are how short it is as the game can be 100%ed in about an hour and how it has a lot of performance issues, but overall it's just simple fun and a great introduction to the series.

Overall a good sequel that I would put on par with the original. It has it's own strengths but unfortunately I feel like it kind of misses what made the original so fun. Climbing is literally non-existent anymore as the game gives you absolutely OP power ups insanely early and once you get the glider the game is effectively over as every form of challenge in the game can be cheesed by it. The starplants aren't even a big deal in this game and take like 5 minutes to grow. Overall though it still has the charm the original had but it does miss the mark in some places.
