The campaign has some fun gameplay segments but the story and boss fights are piss poor. The multiplayer has grown on me and I think it's pretty good now, but the loot boxes suck.

The best of the original series.

A classic title. THE online shooter in its heyday.

My 14 year old ass paid $60 for a bunch of old tracks I already owned.

Not a revolution like other 3D Mario platformers but a fine tuned experience none the less. Nintendo at their most refined.

Slightly above average Souls game.

More pulpy than moody, American Nightmare never stuck with me like Alan Wake did. I'll replay the main game many times but I've been able to get through American Nightmare more than once.

Pretty mid overall but I remember it more than other shooters released at the time.

I used to play through this game and the episodes every summer break hoping Half Life 3 was just around the corner.

Unlocking an achievement on my phone and having it show up on my Xbox profile was the greatest thing I'd ever seen.

Really fantastic visuals, music, and overall presentation that still holds up today. The gameplay doesn't age as well unfortunately. Animations are janky and fairly inconsistent leading to missed ledge grabs. The several forced combat sequences near the end of the game are frustrating as the game repeatedly emphasizes stealth and makes combat deliberately brutal. Still, a unique enough game on its own to deserve the status it has.
