Good in the sense that Smash is good, but probably the weakest game in the series. Yes I think Brawl is better than this.

Honestly, very true. It really just feels like a beta test for Ultimate. Still a good game though.

It's the only Smash I'd say someone can completely skip. Every other game in the series has something worth revisiting, but Wii U really is a beta for Ultimate like @BrightGalaxy said
