I think Guacamelee 2 is a better video game than the first Guacamelee, but it's also kind of just more of the same. So while it's a better game as far as gameplay, it didn't hit me as hard as the first game because a lot of the wow-factor was gone. It's also noticeably more challenging than the first game. While I didn't mind this, my wife found herself needing to bubble more in 2 than in 1 so she had much less fun this time around.
