2020

This game... It really surprised me!!! The story really picks up after a few hours of play time and the gameplay isn't at all boring. Though 80 achievements is a crime for a game like this, way too much.

The atmosphere is exceptional. The game looks and runs very well, it's exactly my type of vibe. Chapter one left me a little overwhelmed with anticipation that I wasn't sure if chapter two was going to live up to the hype, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's a 10/10 for me, looking forward to the rest.

Leagues better than chapter one in every way. It's exactly what I was hoping this game would become! The puzzles the voice acting and the sheer tensity in the air, makes this an unforgettable experience. mommy playtime

I went on a date with Papyrus :(

This game was the freshest of breaths. I had been looking so long for a game EXACTLY like this!!! Next best thing since A Short Hike. Also really reminds me of the Psychonauts hub world

It's a good game for what it's worth, all the main characters are awesome and the world has some pretty cool areas to explore. I wouldn't like to compared it to the other borderlands games since it's a much smaller and a different game.
The side quests are alright, only a few really stand out to me, mainly the ones with references to other media. The rest are a little forgettable.
the weapons are fine, a few are very fun to use but the variety isn't there. The meelee weapons though, are a real highlight for me. A bunch of spells are pretty fun too, namely the dragon lord skulls and the electric talons.
Anyways. DON'T BUY THE DLC UNLESS IT'S SUPER CHEAP. It's not worth it, honestly should've been free.

I'll start with this: The game does not deserve THAT much hate, it is GOOD... BUT, I can see why it got negative reception. If you're realllly into Borderlands and play all games, don't skip this one. Go play it now and don't let my opinion influence your experience.. WITH THAT SAID
All the characters and environments are well designed, the game looks beautiful like any Borderlands game does, aside from a character or two that I'm not too big on. THE STORY, is actually good and interesting. I like that the events take place a year after BL3. THE JOKES, there are a lot of bad ones, some of the scenes are a little unbearable (Specifically ep4) ALTHOUGH, there are a couple of really good jokes here and there, and I especially like the Vaultlander battles that suddenly show up, they're pretty fun. I DO NOT like how Fran is horny all the time, that was just annoying and unfunny. I DO NOT LIKE Anu's constant DEVICE bit. Other than these bad jokes and annoying bits, the characters, story, and writing is GOOD.
Verdict: It's clear to me that everyone working no the game is super talented and did their job well, but some of their choices and writing was subjectively bad to a lot of people, including myself. As a badass Borderlands superfan I enjoyed it for what it is and feel it is necessary if your're playing all games and interested in the story. The first tales game was too good to beat anyways.
AND CAN I SAY HOW I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT LIKE THE SONG SELECTION?? Nowhere near Tales1, I mean come on, Tales1 soundtrack had James Blake.

As a die hard Naruto fan that couldn't get enough of the anime, I am here playing all storm games and 100%ing them in order.
Storm 1 pleasantly surprised me at how good and well developed the world is. All the quests are very fun and well structured with a good few posing a really nice challenge.
At first, the Konohamaru hide and seek seemed really annoying and not good, but now that I did all difficulties it is honestly my favorite thing in this game. This game is AWESOME, and the collectibles especially are really well made. The dioramas are so cool. Can't wait to start Storm 2

On my journey to 100% every Ultimate storm game. After finishing Storm 1 I was a little disappointed to find out there isn't an open village to explore, but the more I played the more I fell in love with the whole layout and interaction between all the characters and story, definitely a step up from the previous one even though the open village was better. I feel like they did the story justice and a lot of the cutscenes are amazing especially the battle between Itachi and Sasuke. I especially loved all the friendship events and correspondence letters, that was nice. The nods to the older games in the post games was nice too even though I didn't play those (yet). I'm almost done with finishing all the collectibles and I am very much looking forward to it. The difficulty isn't really there and I was playing on hard mode, except for a few battles that were actually challenging. The addition of Lars was pretty cool as well. I cannot wait to start Storm 3! (By the time of writing this, Storm Connections is 2 weeks away! that is also exciting. anyways, I'd say a generous 9/10 for me.

I loved the pixel art in this game. All the little references were fun too

Seeing as how I 100%ed the enhanced edition, it always bothered me that this is a separate game lol. So I am 100%ing this one as well. Should be fun.

ON MY JOURNEY TO 100% EVERY STORM GAME. Storm 3 definitely is my favorite so far, not only because some the best story events happen in it but also because they really outdid themselves in making the world feel better and just having better animations and cutscenes than in Storm2. I loved the sheer amount of side quest and extracurricular activities you can partake in, there's definitely a lot to do. Having all the older battles part of the ninja timeline was very fun as well. I didn't at first prefer the switch to limited substitutions compared to the timing+chakra based subs in the previous games but I grew to like that mechanic a lot. Storm 3 was the game I played the most of the series way back when so relearning everything was pretty much muscle memory. I hate though how there is no auto buying things from the collection so I had to manually buy each info card and such. When it comes to difficulty, the game does have a few challenging battles but they are all pretty much easy S rank once you learn the ins and outs of each difficult battle. The final battle was a PAIN to replay because of all those flashback images kind of got annoying. I like the roster of characters and there are some cool costumes though most I do not prefer over the stock outfit. The HERO and LEGEND split was very fun to complete especially for the side quests that had it.
MY FAVORITE FIGHT IN THIS has to be the Uchiha brothers vs Kabuto, easily one of the best moments in the anime and they definitely did it justice. Also, I really like that all the Jinchuriki were playable! Would've loved to see more obscure characters in the roster but I know that Storm4 has those so I will see then. Obviously there is a lot missing from what was in the anime but that is to be expected, whatever was included was well executed.
I would say this is a 9/10 experience. I will remember it fondly.

I'll wait for it to leave early access.

The main game should've been more like this. The DLC overall is very linear but that makes the atmosphere and script a lot more well done. A good middle ground between the base game and DLC would be ideal. And I'm talking about the setting and gameplay, the story is odd to say the least. Hard to follow.
