One of the greatest indie horror games you've never played. A supernatural take on historical atrocities. The less you know the better.

The PS4 version adds widescreen support, trophies, and HD visuals to an already incredible PS2 RPG classic. It has one of the most satisfying battle systems in the series and a killer soundtrack, though the finale is pretty polarizing amongst series fans. Some would say the PS2 era hasn't aged gracefully but you could still play this for the first time in 2024 and have a great time if you're a fan of the genre.

A very cool Vampire Survivors-like with faster unlocks, more streamlined progression, and Warcraft-ish visuals. It's far less cryptic in how to unlock new features and characters, as well as how to evolve weapons. One of the features I like most is how each stage has three different challenge settings with specific quests to complete. Doing so unlocks stars, which in turn unlock new stages. If you dig Vampire Survivors and want a fresh take on the formula, Army of Ruin gives ridiculous value for its small asking price.
