I cannot put to words about how this game is so unique and special... just fucking play it.

From a roleplaying perspective, the game is amazing with wonderful characters, but from a gameplay perspective, it seems every single goddamned floor is covered with some sort of flammable liquid that is there to ruin my day.

Fantastic.

Divinity 2 is a unique and addictive experience.
It was my first contact with a turn-based RPG and at first sight I loved the game's proposal. The world and characters keep you hooked for hours of gameplay.
The story grips you from start to finish, being neither too simple nor too complex, and you bond with your companions throughout the game.

I consider Divinity 2 to be a true masterpiece

Still a masterpiece, even post Baldur's Gate 3

One of my favorite turn based games. The companions and combat system are what carried this game for me. The companions are very well written. I haven't played with all of them yet but the ones I did play with all felt well integrated into the story and had their own questlines going.

The combat system was a direct upgrade from DOS 1 for me. The variety of attacks and spells and the elemental interaction combined with just the game being hard made it fun for me. I know a lot of people prefer DOS 1 not having any magical or physical armor bars but I think that adds to the experience here making it more challenging and 'strategic.' I do feel that the last area of DOS 2 was a bit too difficult and somewhat janky.

I didn't like the puzzles at all but they were an improvement on DOS1 puzzles

The story was pretty good overall. I think the companions carried it but there were some interesting plot stuff as well. There was a sense of 'spectacle' to some of events in the story which was helped by a beautiful soundtrack.

A completion 5 years in the making lmao.
Great gameplay, weird pacing, less engaging characters than I am used to in crpg.
It’s alright, but Age of Decadence better.

IT WAS THE WONDERFUL GAME.

EVERYONE MUST PLAY THIS MASTERPIECE.

YOU EVEN HAVE REASON TO PLAY THE GAME AT LEAST TWICE.

MY SCORE 10/10.

I WILL NEVER FORGET ANY OF YOU: THE RED PRINCE, IFAN BEN-MEZD, LOHSE, FANE, BEAST, SEBILLE, LADY VENGEANCE, TARQUIN, MALADY, JAHAN, ALMIRA, MAHALY AND ARHU...

FINALLY, I WANT TO PUT THIS AMAZING TRACK HERE. I LISTEN THE LEGENDARY TRACK TO HEAR BEFORE THE LAST WAR.

i don't think there will ever be a "perfect game", it's too subjective a term, but this is as close as i think we'll get. i waited for this game for sooo long. since it was announced i ate up every little scrap of news and my excitement built and built until it finally released, and then i decided to play fkn starfield first. anyway, this was everything i ever wanted from an RPG: a great story, amazing characters, huge emphasis on player choice, depth larger than an ocean, enemies that check every box on the dnd nerd list, and an amazingly fleshed out mechanic system. this took me back to the golden age of my childhood when i discovered the RPG genre and started with the all time classics. i don't have anything else to add onto what every critic and video essayist hasn't already said, but this game is amazing. it is my version of "perfect" and i can't sing its praises enough. goated fkn game

absolutely phenomenal game. helped me fall back in love with fantasy turn-based rpgs. the narrative has a deep love and understanding of dungeons & dragons and the characters were incredible. will play again and again.

It's hard to describe the feelings of awe you get while going through this game without spoiling, and it's even harder to describe how it feels to finish it, but I genuinely believe this game is the prime example of an "Adventure game", you get surprised by every discovery, you analyze the information you gather, you learn from what the game teaches you, you get soothed by its music, or get scared shitless by... if you know, you know, and most importantly, you never get tired of going through its world, but all good things have to reach an end at some point, but if by that end I get teary eyed thinking about the experience for a long while, then it's for sure a game I can implore anyone to give a shot, you won't regret it.
