Good first half, when the game is a platformer. Below-average second half, where it becomes a Metroidvania.

I played this game in History class back in 2018, before it got big. It was fun. It's still fun.

I do like the return to form, and I enjoy the character-specific dice, but Nintendo is pulling the punches that make Mario Party, Mario Party.
