My favorite roguelike of all time. Variety among survivors, the steadily-increasing difficulty, and no item limit means that you can make each run as batshit insane as you want to. It's not about beating Mithrix. It's about lasting long enough before the game crashes.
1
Short and sweet game with an emphasis on speedrunning. Once you learn to play the game properly without slow motion, it just gets even better.
2
I genuinely believe that RE Engine marked a new era of Capcom. This is a beautiful showcase of it.
3
NecroDancer + 2D Zelda. Depending on which one you like more, you can change the game to fit either style. Recommend if you like either.
4
Rebirth of a franchise. Still CoD.
5
The joke turned reality. Genuinely really fun and intense.
6
Shadow dropped, and a pleasant surprise. I sure hope that this doesn't lead Respawn to discard the rest of the Titanfall franchise!
7
Mario Maker was fun, but there's something that Mario Maker 2 is lacking. Maybe it's because it doesn't have as much new stuff as I expected. Or maybe it's because it's had way less updates.
8
Breakaway.
9
It just isn't the same, man...
10
I only played this because I was too impatient for Halo Infinite.

I don't understand the hype. This game feels... generic to me, by roguelike standards. The combat feels bland. Maybe it's also because I find Greek Mythology overused.

Right...
