Most overrated game of all time.

The open world is devoid from any real meaningful points of interest, the things that fill it are the same 3 or 4 types of monsters, repetitive shrines and korok seeds.

There was no real incentive to fight the monsters, as they only serve to break your weapons. I found that just running away was a better option most of the time.

From a narrative standpoint, the story is bland. Link is a wet paper towel and the secondary characters just aren't that interesting. Also, everybody seems pretty happy with their lives in this post-apocalyptic world, despite the fact that Princess Zelda has been imprisoned for a hundred years by Ganon inside her castle.

I played the game always looking for that moment where it would surprise me and I'd understand all the praise, but alas, I completed the main story and that moment never came.

Probably one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had.
