Team Fortress 2
2007
This game unironically changed my life and made me who I am today. A game I met countless online friends and probably have the most hours in general at over 3,200 hours. The gameplay itself is pretty satisfying with a lot of variety in weapons and classes with personality fleshed out in other media and cinematics. Probably a shame the game doesn't get the love it deserves in recent years but the community overall is pretty great. No matter where in life I seem to be at, somehow I manage to come back to this game.

A fantastic team-based shooter and one of my favorite games of all time. Valve created a charming masterpiece with addictive gunplay and loveable characters that still holds up amazingly well today thanks to its thriving and creative fanbase supporting it. Team Fortress 2 will never die, and honestly, I hope it lives forever.

It's kind of hard to fully appreciate it nowadays (except for me; I always have a perfect appreciation for the arts), but it still remains a cool and fun VN.
Doesn't get as fucking insanely good as some of the biggest highs in the rest of the series, but it also doesn't explode itself over how convoluted it is like the rest of the series too.
This happened to my buddy Eric.
