Da Vinci painted the Mona Lisa, Shakespeare wrote Macbeth, Einstein solved relativity and Vanilla Ice performed his hit song Ice Ice Baby, all of these major canonical events being then followed up by the best videogame ever made: this one. Only reason it gets a 10/10 score is that backloggd does not allow for higher, the complex and in-depth gameplay mechanics, the heartfelt and touching story, the masterful level and audio design, all the unique ideas baked into this game truly just create an irreplaceable experience. While some might argue that it's sequel, Persona 5, achieves a more complete package with it's nuances, however I believe the original king is still the true king. Very happy that such a worthy entry has got to be my introduction to The Legend of Zelda series. I think I should play it's spinoff soon as well, I'm told it has a horse!

Probably the best arena fighter I have ever played. There was only one part I did not enjoy where you had to fight blank item spammer enemies who were impossible to hitstun, but aside from that they really fixed every issue I had with the first game, with the titular power stone mechanic being a lot more spaced out, lot less OP, generally just doesn't make fights cyclical anymore, I liked that part. The levels are all super unique with some special fun objectives, weirdly arcade mode only has one round per fight opposed to best of three but all in all this really is just a super cool super fun sequel to an already great game.

There is an incredible game beyond one of the worst paced stories I have ever experienced. It has a couple of flaws that are just so insanely bad, which is so sad because when the game hits it has some of gaming's strongest moments. This 9/10 rating really is a "10/10 except a number of genuinely 2/10 aspects". Was it not for ending E being incredible, I might have developed much worse of a view on it, due to the final endings being so weakly executed and told, and the constant replay loop structure being functionally useless after a certain point. A 40 hour long game with about 30 hours of incredible content, 8 hours of suffering and 2 hours of moments that I wish hit harder. And yes after a negative focused review I'm still giving it a 9/10 because Yoko Taro legally owns 37% of my brain and most of my organs.

Pretty fun challenge for the game, and a very funny material spawn method too! I like most of the extra outfits it gives you, the remixes present are also super eerie and chilling. Some of the rooms are bullshit but oh well that's part of the DrakeNieR package. I wanna say "would recommend" but in the remake it's mandatory for true ending anyway sooooo...

A mediocre Mario Kart game, but still a really good kart racer. The karts control super nicely, drifting is fun, but when it comes to cosmetics the game is seriously lacking, with only about eight unique level themings (three from Sonic), it starts to feel quite repetitive to go through a world cup. It's not bad, a good first attempt, but as the theme song says, it's gotta be "so much more than this", and it just needs to try again for that.

Okay so like I got no.2 on the hungarian 2024 week 19 leaderboards after playing for only one day since like 8 years ago, does that count as beating the game? Anyways it sucks lol, it's designed in a nasty way that takes advantage of short attention spans and locks you in a feedback loop of hundreds of mini achievements you can achieve under one run, gets you addicted slowly and manipulates you into spending money on it, while also pushing ads in your face and rewarding you insanely heavily for watching them. Yes I just unironically wrote a review about Subway Surfers...

This game sucks and that's incredible. There is so much bad here that alone could warrant a 1/10 score for a lesser game, but here I genuinely just adore the whole package, and those familiar with Yoko Taro's other games know full well that the bad design is just part of the experience. It's repetitive, maps suck, some of the music makes me want to burn my ears and it repeatedly overstays it's welcome, but proceeding through it just nets you with a sense of satisfaction I have hardly experienced elsewhere. You might love it or hate it but I would definitely say it's worth at least a try from any gamer who enjoys character actions and j-media in general.

Do NOT play this before branch C! Play the rest after branch A but keep this to the end because it spoils ending C's reveal. Aside from that, we have some really cool stuff here, Michael screentime alone carries it to top 3 prologue status and the boss was legit probably the best in the whole game (along with branch B's), but to balance it out in true DOD fashion, we also have some awful levels here, thus I feel conflicted about my score a little.

Solid! Not peak or anything but definitely really good. They made being limited to chakrams not feel restraining unlike Five's spear or Four's bracers, and the boss was also great!

The best level design, only good characters, top 5 final boss, best... no I mean really the only prologue that had like an actual plot, it's fun! The twist at the end was lowkey tragic, this is what happens to genuinely great people in the Yokoverse...

Getting to spend time with the most entertaining intoner and a great disciple just going through rounds of monsters and playing off of each other. If you enjoy the main game you will enjoy this, no doubt.

You're stuck with the least versatile weapon, the worst disciple and conclude in a really bad final boss, despite that I still enjoyed my time on this mainly due to seeing Four's personality unravel, demonstrating her contradictory personality really well.

Easily the weakest prologue, hardly anything to see here they really just didn't know what to add for Five huh...

An incredibly fun, short and really sweet game. Truly a product of it's time, loved every second of it (minus stage 6 that was sloggish as heck).

On one hand I felt like my brain couldn't fully comprehend this game, while on the other hand it's one of the most unique and fun shooters I played. The graphics are understandably subpar but they are lowkey charming to me, while the gameplay is both hard and very fun!
