Cute rhythm game that broke my 3ds circle pad but luckily this game has a touchpen mode.
Unlike Project Diva, this game features Gumi, and with that comes a decent amount of exclusive songs to this game.
Charts feel a bit more beginner-friendly since notes follow a rail and don't fly around on the screen as much
Aside from the Rhythm Game, this game also offers a mode to interact with all of the Cryptonloids, going from designing their room to playing Reversi/Puyo Puyo against them.
Another neat detail is being able to make your own short tune using a Vocaloids Voice (so yes, this game allows you to rickroll your friends with Miku) and being able to comment on Music PV Nico Nico Style.
It's an overlooked game with a lot of care put into it trying to make up for the 3DS' limited capabilities.

Expected an RPG but got an advanced random number generator instead...
Smirking as the main gimmick is still pretty luck-based and misses/crits happen a little too frequently
Bosses have either shit AI or just seem to select random skills (the worst examples are bosses like Izanami and Chemtrail, but even the very first two bosses in the story are not enjoyable in any sense). Sometimes you don't even need to re-arrange skills and party to win a boss fight, all you need is to re-load and fish for some good RNG that won't fuck you over.
The game is easily exploitable (Megidoplasma and Panic Caster + Trafuri on bosses) but Press Turns feel better than in Nocturne at least.
Exploration can feel satisfying sometimes but the on-field encounters can be inescapable because of MC's slow speed.
The map is terrible and it was clearly designed for people who already know Tokyo irl and navigating it can be a pain.
This game absolutely requires looking at a guide but I guess some people are into that, I think that the game would definitely benefit from showing locations on the map just like in Apoc.
The dungeons aren't really of note, aside from the first and the last not being fun to traverse at all.

I'd probably rate this game a bit lower but the story has its good moments and the Music/Art can be pretty nice.
