A lot of people call this Dark souls with guns, and while I see where they are coming from, it didnt quite induce the same level of "oh god" when bosses and enemies showed up. Having said that, the enemy design is interesting, locations are varied, and gunplay is satisfying.

The game is very much designed to be played multiplayer so I would drop this a star solo given you miss some of the content. As far as souls-like imitators go, it's slightly above average.

Played this in co op, just because my husband really wanted to play this ... so as per usual I got dragged into it, and boy was I bored to death. He really liked it, I did not. I did not play solo, tried, but could not stand it.

Story was non existent, I couldn't care less. Characters were boring, uninteresting. World was bland, empty. I did minimum to finish it and collect the trophies and that was it. Could not be bothered to finish the dlc.

Its a mech game and its good. What more could you ask. Very beginner friendly as this is my first Armored Core. An almost overwhelming amount of parts to choose for your AC, but you'll find your groove. I could spend an entire day customizing my AC to be fully optimized and looks rad as hell.
Amazing soundtrack. Spectacular gameplay. Great voice acting. A lot of love went into this instalment and you can tell.

What a fucking ride, I literally have tears in my eyes thinking about the beautiful ending. The original Persona 3 is a seminal piece of media for me... One of those games that you never wanted it to end.

The themes about accepting death is inevitable and you must live your life at your fullest, truly resonate with me today more than they did when I played the original games in 2014. I truly believe Persona 3 changed my entire perspective on life, and made me a better person.

The new voice cast delivers an incredible performance, and honestly, I didn’t miss any of the old voice actors at all. A special shout out to Allegra Clark’s performance as Mitsuru Kirijo, one of the greatest voice performances I ever ever seen in game. Yukari my beloved and the best girl in the Persona series of course, my man Stupei Ace Defective, that Akihiko medal scene, let Koromaru attend to school, and of course, Aigis social link and entire character arc was the cherry on the top. Thank you Atlus for making this game accesible for a new generation.

You know nobody is perfect, but this game is no simple nobody. This game is a perfect captured crystal of time where incredible storytelling and brutal and rewarding feats of strength come together to create a work of mind bending art. At a surface level, a forgotten warrior's climb from a simple person to a slayer of gods. On a deeper level, a gripping story of families, dragons, and wars. Fromsoft continues to deliver time and time again and ladies and gents, this one takes the cake.

Elden Ring, the dark fantasy masterpiece developed by FromSoftware and Hidetaka Miyazaki, has once again expanded its hauntingly beautiful world with the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This eagerly anticipated addition takes the already captivating Elden Ring experience to new heights, delivering an engrossing blend of challenging gameplay, atmospheric storytelling, and awe-inspiring landscapes.

One of the standout features of expansion is its seamless integration into the existing Elden Ring universe. The expansion seamlessly weaves new lore into the tapestry of the Lands Between, introducing enigmatic characters, mysterious factions, and ancient secrets waiting to be unearthed. As players delve deeper into the narrative, they'll find themselves drawn into a tale that not only expands the existing lore but also poses new questions, leaving room for speculation and discussion among the Elden Ring community.

In terms of gameplay, Shadow of the Erdtree introduces a host of formidable foes, each with their own unique combat styles and patterns that will keep even the most seasoned Ashen Ones on their toes. From menacing bosses lurking in the shadowy depths to relentless adversaries patrolling cursed landscapes, the expansion maintains the series' reputation for punishing difficulty while rewarding strategic mastery. The addition of new weapons, spells, and abilities provides fresh tactical options for players to experiment with, adding an extra layer of depth to the already robust combat system.

One of the expansion's most visually striking features is its breathtaking environments. From haunting, mist-shrouded swamps to towering, foreboding citadels, each location is meticulously crafted and contributes to the overall sense of atmospheric dread that Elden Ring is known for. The artistry displayed in Shadow of the Erdtree is a testament to the developers' commitment to creating a world that is as hauntingly beautiful as it is perilous.

The expansion also introduces multiplayer enhancements, allowing players to delve into new co-op challenges and competitive modes. The addition of fresh multiplayer content breathes new life into the Elden Ring community, fostering a sense of camaraderie and competition among players as they face the expansion's trials together.

In conclusion, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is a stellar addition to an already exceptional game.
