gorgeous art, music, and map design but the storytelling (or lack thereof) vexes and torments me to no end. while there are some legitimately interesting bits of lore, the presentation falls flat -- the devs purposely left the story in pieces for players to find on their own, but those pieces never really come together as a cohesive whole. the puzzles can be pretty obtuse and operate largely on trial and error. also just as a warning there's a bug that makes the game crash (pretty frequently) if you enter a map too fast
all that being said, it's still a pretty game and a top-tier example of what you can do with rpgmaker graphics, and I'm still following the development of its prequel in hopes that it'll improve and expand on the parts I actually enjoyed. I don't recommend it if you're here for plot, but I do come back to it every now and then so if you have time to kill and you're at all interested in playing I'd say go for it
