What a shitshow. In all seriousness, I really did enjoy the vast amount of game improvements over the predecessor. From character mechanics to the wider range of gameplay and let’s not forget about the generational graphics. That’s about where the positives end.

Neil Druckmann is a terrorist. The fact that the motherucker decided to kill Joel off like a fucking bitch just baffles me. Like if you’re gonna kill him off, make him a hero!

Switching to Abby in the middle of peak climax was just a fucking joke, and then I have to play the bitch for 13 hours. At one point it was like I was literally playing a completely different game. It’s like Ellie and her story was totally wiped off the face of the planet. I started to realize Abby and Lev’s missions were basically a fucking Dollar Store version of Joel and Ellie in Part I, like who’s the one calling the shots here?!?

The Hospital mission where we had to fucking parkour through that jank ass building to get those medical supplies for that bitch who got her arm busted was one of the worst experiences in a video game I had ever had. I literally joked to my friend watching me, I said “here we go with another pointless 2-hour mission”. Not only was it a pointless mission cause the bitch ended up living another 15 minutes before getting laced with AR bullets from the WLF, but it took me 2 hours and 30 minutes! I kept dying cause that meat puppet at the end kept chasing me in that dark ass basement with knee high water and I could not grab ammo for the life of me.

I just don’t like Abby’s playstyle nearly as much as Ellie’s, I don’t mind her story, but I just missed creeping up on infected and clickers and slicing their throat with that badass switchblade. Some don’t like the switchblade cause it’s OP, I love it. Abby was just clunky and I hated it. Not only were they trying to make me feel bad for Abby to like her, in the third act, they were trying to make Ellie look like a fucking bad guy!! Now maybe she kind of was, but I mean come on, what the fuck are we doing here! This is Naughty Dog for christ sakes!! The same ones who made TLOU1 and Uncharted!!

And then at the end when Ellie cuts the bitch free and they’re heading for the boats, Ellie and Abby start scrambling in the water with Ellie starting to drown Abby, then she has a last fucking minute change of heart and let’s her go?? Like the whole fucking game is Ellie killing countless number of characters trying to hunt down the bitch who killed her father figure and then finally gets her chance and let’s her go, like what the actual flying fuck.

Imagine if Rockstar made Arthur look bad and made us play as Micah for 13 hours in RDR2, then when we start playing as Arthur again, we decide not to kill him because John says we shouldn’t or some shit like that. Just horrible writing. But at the end of the day, there were still parts I liked, the gameplay was vastly improved and I really enjoyed the first half of the game, it still get’s a 3 from me, even though half the game is fucking ass.
