Maybe not quite as fun as RCT2 back in the day, but I remember getting much more of a grasp on School Tycoon's mechanics and making some real progress from the ground up. A really fun management sim with a delightful cartoonish aesthetic.

I remember the old man telling you he's going to retire and saying "there's plenty of opportunity for promotion" in the intro cutscene. That was fun.
I could never turn a profit in the Snow Biome during level 3 (I think I might I have got past it past one time, but I definitely got no further than level 5 when you revisit the Desert Biome). So I'd just replay the first 3 levels.

The PC version kicked butt. The Playstation version kicked less butt, but had some cool features that I wish the PC version had. The Playstation 2 version happened.

I loved this game as a kid even though the game played at a silky smooth 5 FPS on the family computer. I remember being 10 years old and doodling hate art of the ant companion because one time he popped up to give me some advice on how to improve my theme park and he caused the whole thing to crash, wiping out two hours of gameplay.

When my grandma was dying my mom went to visit her in a hospice and they always brought us to this kids room with toys and stuff and it had a gamecube and this was the only fucking game. There was a box for sunshine and I desperately looked for the game in my foolishness but only thing there was was this game. Always ended up getting stuck like 5 minutes in.

Quite an enjoyable experience, but over time it can grow into a chore, just like Two Point Hospital.
