finished the remaster the other day and while i had a few bugs starting out it was nothing game-breaking and i adapted slash they seemed to resolve themselves. main story could have been a bit longer and/or more involved but i was never bored

this was lowkey sooooo good and i was only just able to track it down from my vague memories of it

the impact this had is underrated!!! from memory i preferred the sequels (maybe 3??) but these are like lost media at this point which is super sad and makes me feel ancient

i think this is the delicious game i played the most

first one was clunky af but i love that it exists because it spawned so many spin-offs

god i so desperately wish i understood this. i've only ever played downloaded/pirated versions which i felt threw me in. i had no pre-existing knowledge so i pretty much floundered around with nothing functioning properly until i ran out of money. i'm sure had i played this as a kid and read the physical booklet that came with it, i would enjoy this. the graphics are really cool and the chris sawyer interface is familiar asf to me.

i miss this game soooo much and wanna play it again. i got really close to finishing the entire game but it gets extremely hectic towards the end, i'm not even sure if it's possible lol.

holy crap i have fond memories of playing this on school computers back in the day (weird when i think about that lmao. like why we small children given unfettered access to the internet??? even with school filters you could play games like this lolol)

barely played this for more than an hour at a time before getting bored. my memories of it are like a fever dream

okay so i tried to play the prologue and the window was warped and cropped and NONE of the text was legible, it was soooo blurry, so i couldn't even adjust any settings. unplayable. disappointing

just played the demo. very very short, it really should have been a bit longer. i am relatively intrigued but not enough to buy for $30aud, maybe i would be a buyer at $20?

anyway the art style is really weird, uncanny valley. i assume it uses that unreal engine? but idk for sure. it's very 2009 second life lmao. and the ai generated voice from the tutorial guidance lady wigged me out so bad.

hated the camera controls, so fkn clunky. for example, when placing objects, whenever you rotated or moved the camera with an object on your cursor it unselected and you had to select it again. it also was not easy to do everything with the mouse only. to move laterally you needed the keyboard. dumb!

agree with others, the prompts are just too weird/hard/uninteresting, made even worse when playing with a group that isn't particularly artistic nor even enjoys drawing. not for us

good enough to relive some nostalgia but i have next to no urge to pick this up again unless idk i'm like bed-ridden and have nothing else to do

literally only got this because it was free and played it for about half an hour before i realised it's boring as shit. i like colouring games but i have one on my phone and it's much simpler because all you have to do is click once to colour an area, not drag around like this one. also it made no sense for me to have a wind down game on pc
