I learned how to read from playing Super Mario Sunshine, which means that on some fundamental level my mindset about the entirety of language is determined by what is in that game. I value good characters and gags. I don't finish most of the games I play but I don't consider that to mean anything. If I like something a game in content but can't adapt to it mechanically, I won't knock the game.

I probably played this all the way through four or five times. Not very good but I think they should try to do this again.
I played the multiplayer mode of this with a German kid in the Frankfurt airport. Neither of us understood a thing the other was saying other than "Mario", "Luigi", "mushroom". A beautiful memory. The game makes me very mad to play, it's not very good.
