Random rec but i urge you to go and play Contra Hard Corps, I’ve been chipping at it and its a fucking amazing experience, I recommend getting the romhack that restores Hitpoints, the localizers basically made the game one shot one kill in the western release and imho it makes the game way less fun but thats up to you

i do need to play more contra and hard corps seems like the best one that isn't uprising. shattered soldier looks pretty damn good too
