a litmus test for gamer sentience
maybe also the all-time least interesting game to have a debate about? if you think this game is badly designed or that it controls poorly, then i'm genuinely not interested in hearing it. i strongly recommend running it back - without the bitch in your ear yapping out all those cookie-cutter tier arguments

heroes > sa1
my dad > your dad
sonic 1>sa2 /j
all of these are incorrect
heroes goes fucking crazy though
@apocynadeae i agree that heroes is very good. very dumb complaints get thrown at that game (i.e. "i am bad at controlling the speed characters"). it def has a few stages that are boring (a couple chaotix and dark levels can drag) but it's overall just what most people complain this game isn't
Based review
Can I ask what's so bad about someone thinking sa1 is better considering you gave it a 9. What's wrong with that lol

@nowitsreyntime17 there's nothing wrong with preferring sa1 to sa2 but @mickey is recycling the same tired point of "treasure hunting bad" and proclaiming it like a fact, which is totally worthy of ridicule - especially given the point of this review
mans cannot understand the concept of strategy as a skill. as if there's no nuance whatsoever to optimizing sa2's rouge/knuckles stages. gimme a break
anyway i like big's levels. they're surprisingly expansive and pretty chill to explore - especially icecap. the fishing itself is basic but it's serviceable and very brief either way. i have very few complaints about sa1 in general, but i find knuckles and tails to have the least engaging stages

ah I meant more in regards to the other comments but yeah mickey did the same thing on my chrono trigger review smh, should get around to playing this one tho cuz it looks really sick
i mean, if someone puts "sa1>sa2" when i think the opposite, i'm still gonna say "nah". like it's fine and respectable to think that - both are excellent either way - but i'm not gonna say i agree with it esp in my own comment space
@nowitsreyntime17 anyway, regarding playing the game itself make sure to either play it on dc or on steam with [this mod pack](https://sadxmodinstaller.unreliable.network/) so you don't have a wildly buggy and graphically inconsistent experience
epic embed fail
I plan on playing the dc version not DX dont worry
