this game is hit or miss, while is not bad out of all the ac games this game has the most repetitive level design like destroy enemy mts or defend this area for x amount of time, that's 90% of the missions in this game, and not only that but this game has no challenge to offer, i steamrolled this game in like 4 hours, all the enemy acs either melt you in 5 seconds or you melt them in 5 seconds, and those missions where u had to use nightvision added nothing to the gameplay only making it harder where to go next. And this game has the most disappointing ending so far and i thought silent line's ending sucked. But you fight nineball for the millionth time in this game but since this is nexus bro dies in like 15 seconds which is kinda a shame coming from the nineball fight of master of arena, and then you just see a swarm of mech flies and hit you and then the game ends. Disc 2 looks alright but kinda bummed out from disc 1 but maybe i'll try it out someday

1. get a good radiator
2. manage your heat better
3. the ending is extremely self explanatory. yes you're missing something
4. revolution disc is more than remakes

the heat system actually never bothered me, i didn't think it was as bad as people says, like u said when u get a good radiator that issue becomes nonexistent. And looking back at the ending i kinda understand it now its basically a last stand for the raven, and i might try out disc 2

and the da music is a vibe

yeah the story of nexus is basically the usual corporate struggle with navis getting gangbanged by every other corpo, only for kisaragi to go full fuckhead with their obsessive old world research and accidentally... yknow... and since you've played last raven you're aware of what the finale leads into

the music's killer yeah. nexus and LR are prolly my favorite osts. to elaborate a lil more on disc 2: at the surface it's just stage remakes and remixes, but there's also alt takes where you fight for the opposition, which is the coolest thing imo. fighting for the squatters in ac1 is a neat turnaround considering the beginning of that game has you kicking their teeth in

moreover, the music in disc 2 is a lot of hoshino remixes for gen 1 tracks. so it's worth checking out for that alone imo

i think it might be somewhat worth mentioning that the final boss in nexus being nine-ball is just a dumb thing the localization team made up and that there's some vague implication that it's supposed to be a prototype pulverizer or something instead, but that definitely doesn't change how underwhelming of a fight it is tbh

really lmfao?, das crazy

for clarity in japanese that boss is just called "???"

the nineball resemblance is uncanny though. given what nineball literally is it's not really a far cry to consider em one in the same
