it follows the general archetype of, in order of appearance:
-woman who appears smart and composed, but gradually loses her sanity over the course of the series in addition to just being adorably terrible at the tasks (Victoria Coren-Mitchell, Katherine Parkinson, Fern Brady)
-older man who is the butt of a bunch of jokes and mercilessly made fun of just for being slightly older (Frank Skinner, Richard Herring, Ardal O'Hanlon, David Baddiel) and is often just as bad at the tasks
-person who is unhinged but like in a different, more active way (Morgana Robinson, Mawaan Rizwan, James Acaster)
-person who is simply here to have a good time (Guz Khan, Mike Wozniak, Mel Giedroyc, Chris Ramsey)
-person who is terrifyingly good at it and is more competitive (Sophie Duker, Kerry Godliman, Ed Gamble)

let me have this it's 2:30am and i am nervous as fuck for my flight tomorrow and i watched a bunch of taskmaster today. i think of the tasks tomorrow but like in my head i'm so sleepy
