maybe the worst mh entry, the game is too easy and too simplified even at the highest difficulty. crafting, gathering, hunting, and character building are all too quick like the game doesn't want you to stay long.(and even being sponges, the hunts are still not hard nor long enough, its just bad)

the good: whisper bug skills and switch skills are great since they give some weapons completely new ways to play and expand/fix some weapon's problems.
Magnamalo's design is great.

all most everything else but especially the final boss of rise, the tower defense mechanics, and the horrible grindy damage sponge mission at the end of sunbreaks (and even being sponges, the hunts are still not hard nor long)

it has amazing art and world-building, but lacking in IS elements, and stealth is tedious in comparison to its prequel.
all the "new" stuff is not improving the game more like some fun but forgettable gimmick.
has some interesting level designs but are too short and being drawn back by other missions due to their mediocracy

entertaining combat mechanics(not necessarily "good") just like frozen synapse, but everything else is lacking, unfortunately.
if there is a sequel that improves on the story/campaign, mech building, pilot leveling it will be a good game.

optimization aside, combat mechanics suck, only merit being in three kingdom setting.

played like 3 hrs, can't stand its control and pixel hunting, so went to youtube to finish the story up.
the story is not that impressive too, basically a weaker shorter version of Altered Carbon/Blade Runner/GitS.
great atmosphere and VO thou, only if the story would be longer..........

an IS with amazing world-building and art but less RPG elements.
trying to do a murder psycho run but gave up and somehow end up with low chaos ending again.
so it seems chaos is not that hard to manage after all.
MC is way to op it kinda trivializes the game btw
