Amazing Gran Turismo game, and it was essentially the foundations of what Gran Turismo 7 came to be. This was really an online-focused game (80% of functionality shut down on January 31, 2024) but all of my time was sunk into singleplayer. Driving physics are sim-cade but still had a great feeling of control and simulation.

By far one of the best and most creative shooters i've ever played. A must-try for anybody with a Steam account (it's free!). Valve is currently dealing with the bot/cheating problem, meaning the playerbase is as active as it's been for the past few years.

By far one of the best simulators you can get that isn't iRacing. Base content is good but the modding community is alive and kicking. I spend most my time on touge (Japanese mountain pass racing) mods, and enjoyed every single second. However, the driving physics are definitely not 100% simulator, but it's still great nonetheless.

Played on the Nintendo Switch.

This game was my first MLB The Show title, and it held a pretty damn good first impression on me! Saw it on the eShop for $10, and decided to get it, knowing nothing about baseball. One year later and i'm absolutely addicted to the sport.

Gameplay is nice, however Road to the Show feels hollow (MLBTS 24 revamped it). Diamond Dynasty was really whack, Sets was one of the worst things i've ever encountered.

This left a good first impression on me but the NSW port was REALLY rough around the edges. I played this again on XBOX Series X and it felt magnitudes better.

This game is my second MLB The Show title, so I have a little "new player" bias. But this game is solid overall. All gamemodes hold their own, the gameplay is fun, and the online is decent. Road to the Show got a dialogue revamp, and brought back the Draft Combine (last seen in MLBTS 20), making RTTS have more soul than the past few years. The hitting mechanics feel a bit worse than MLBTS 23 but not ruined. However, the online content gets repetitive, but so doesn't baseball?

Good if you're a baseball fan but I wouldn't recommend getting this for $70. Either get it though XBOX Game Pass or get last year's title for $20 on the PlayStation Store if you don't want to pay the price.

By far a must-have for ANYBODY that has a Steam account. Gather some buds, get some wacky addons, and go wild, man. You will blow HOURS without ever realizing.

This 2015.... "thing" was Eutechnyx's last video game before they dropped off the face of the earth completely. With the state of their games, I don't blame them, I wouldn't be caught dead calling "Ride To Hell: Retribution" a game I developed. But this review isn't about that.

This game is... fine? My 500+ hours are purely from online leagues, which is the only reason I play this game anymore: the only remaining semi-functional NASCAR game for PC. The game by itself is fine. It's essentially just a roster and scheme update of NASCAR '14. They tuned the AI to make them less like crack addicts and more rehabbed addicts trying not to relapse. The glitches in this game are the worst. Random wallpops that send you off the track, pit barrels flipping you over, even going under the map (https://x.com/MurphTurn2/status/1623054004568854528/), but the worst part is the online netcode. It puts iRacing to shame. It's godawful.

TL;DR "okay" singleplayer, multiplayer makes me want to drive into Daytona Turn 4 at 180mph.

Started in Season 5, quit after Season 11. 800 hours across all accounts and all consoles. I played Mirage like my life depended on it. Sadly, the multiple bugs, issues, and the poor QoL just turned me away. It's essentially an iPad kid's Titanfall. I have no clue how the state of the game is currently, but I don't plan on coming back. I had fun while it lasted but the fun started dying, which is why I dropped the game.
