I really like the story and the characters, they're all fun and lively and interesting, and I really like the motif of the safe haven you built for yourself in your mind turning against you because of unadressed baggage. However where it annoys me to no end is how heavy handed it is on the symbolism. A scene that I think sums this up best is the scene in Basil's flower garden in the first 10 minutes of the game. You do not have to explicitly tell us which flower represents which character, we should be able to figure that out ourselves. It's like this for the entire duration of the game and it's so so frustrating. Despite the cutesy pastel aesthetic the game is for adults, so treat the player like they're an adult. That's a major complaint I have about it but it's actually the only one. The art is gorgeous, both the character and background art, and the fights have an interesting mechanic with the emotions which ties into the idea of the headspace really well. Overall very solid game
