Whilst I understand the weird fiction concept and applaud any game that seeks to warp expectations, there is a core problem with Control I could not get past: it is not fun.

I am the perfect audience for the story of this game yet the endless streams of bullet sponge enemies and dull environments ground me down to the point I took a year to complete it.
