This game owns and is probably my favorite game in the whole "metroidvania" genre. The castle to explore is large enough to be full of hidden stuff while also small enough to not make backtracking annoying. The RPG mechanics make said backtracking still worth doing as you get EXP. The gameplay itself is smooth and fluid and alucard controls like the dreamboat that he is. Another game where its high praise is well deserved imo.
