Is it the best game of all time like its reputation might lead you to believe? lol no. It is still incredibly impressive. The world feels a lot smaller than in previous titles though that could just be due to the fragmentation of everything rather than having a large open hyrule like the 2D zeldas. The dungeons are also all rather well designed and none of them overstay their welcome. The plot was just kinda okay, I had no idea that this game gave link a whole harem though. I wish they fleshed out each of the sages and gave them more screentime as it really just felt like the story was about link, zelda, and ganondorf. The gameplay has all the bells and whistles of zelda, but in a 3D environment and it all just works. I think it's really impressive that they managed to get 3D zelda down so correctly on their first time, and I can definitely see why people would have their minds blown by this when it first released. It's definitely one of those games everyone who likes games should at least try, and I'm glad I was able to finally finish it.
